This Wednesday is kind of a big deal in the cosmos...because we have Solar Eclipse in Leo.
And it arrives to gobble up our well-cultivated public personas.
Our August Rewilding the Temple new moon anointing rite will be held during this eclipse, giving it an especially powerful energy. We'll be working with jasmine, and everyone is welcome to join.

Getting ready for the Leo solar eclipse Wednesday, august 12
Every eclipse season is a time of major change — individually and collectively.
Life as usual gets an interrupt, and while this can be jarring, new choices also become possible.
Something in your life will shift. The question is how you engage with this cosmic request.
Eclipses happen on oppositional axis (two signs that are opposite each other in our Zodiac wheel) and in cycles that change every year and half. The oppositional, cyclical nature of an eclipse cycle is like a reset — wherever the polarity in question has gone off, the invitation to rebalance arises.
For the next 18 months, we're going to have an eclipse cycle on the Aquarius-Leo axis. This axis places emphasis on the tension between the desires of the individual (Leo) and the needs of the collective (Aquarius):
Within a greater 10-month eclipse cycle, each individual eclipse has its own unique vibes. And this first one is going to place a lot of emphasis on all things Leo....
So. Much. Leo.
Jupiter has been in Leo since early summer, and Jupiter makes things bigger. This planet signifies teachers, priests, and gurus — anyone who tells other people what’s “true”.
Add to this Mercury’s role in communication also joining Leo on the 12th, and we’ll see a lot of focus arise around how we all show up as proselytizers of our own personas — selling our lifestyles and beliefs and likes and dislikes and hot takes to whoever will listen.
Followers and finances, feeding our Leonine desire to be loved...
The invitation is to participate in this recalibration rather than let it take you down kicking and screaming.
Ask yourself: Where has your public image taken on a life of it’s own?
I certainly don’t think we ever need to share all of who we are online or with our various in-person communities — that’s dangerous in its own way.
Are there places you’ve created a facade that’s taking over your personal life?
Has your persona grown further and further from the human you really are at heart?
Is your mask pulling you farther from your heart’s true desires rather than into deeper alignment?
Use this eclipse a gift. The more coherence you create between your public and private selves, the better.
