Virgos tend the sacred. ​

This devotional sign carries us from August 23rd to the Autumnal Equinox, when skies grow dark once again.

Largely misunderstood as overly-organized and detail-oriented, Virgo’s true archetype is that of the priestess (and priest, for that matter). This archetype helps us prepare for the times to come with essential tasks of offerings, clearings, rituals, and — yes — organizing our resources. ;)

You’re invited to join our live September New Moon gathering and anointing rite, when we’ll meet under the archetype of Virgo in sacred ceremony. During our gathering, we'll explore the energy of the season, anoint our bodies with sacred oils, and experience a guided journey to meet the temple tender within you.

Our ally for the month is Rosemary. A plant of memory, ancestor veneration, pollination, and clarity — rosemary will bring us into alignment with the path we wish to walk as we tend the temples of our lives.

There’s a beautiful calming point in the ear located just behind the little cartilage fold at the front of the upper ear. Hold it gently on both sides for one minute and take a slow breath. It’s especially lovely with a drop of anointing oil. ;)
